Task 1 - Background
Dear Archeologist,
Thank you very much for participating in this project. It is very important we uncover what really happened in History. Scott Wolter claims to have uncovered many interesting "facts" which may help to shed some light on things we were previously ignorant about. Your first task will be to find out the names of possible people who may have discovered America before 1492. In google, type in "who discovered America" and see what comes up. After you find different names, make a list of them in your journal and the year in which they supposedly discovered America. We will then discuss what you have found. After we have completed this first assignment, we will watch an episode of Scott Wolter's show America Unearthed. Through this episode you will be able to see some of the things he has found and it will give you a good introduction into what we are talking about. After you have finished watching the video, we will discuss as a group what we have found as well. It is very important to keep a journal of the things you find, so please conclude with your journal entries. Thank you again and good luck!
Sincerely,
John Doe
